Our commitment to human rights is embedded into our existing frameworks and processes, applicable to all employees, suppliers and third parties, such as HLMG (Hong Leong Manufacturing Group) Code of Conduct and Ethics and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct. The Supplier Code of Conduct and Ethics include specific labour and human rights expectations for suppliers and third parties.

We respect human rights by working in line with the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. The MPI Supplier Code of Conduct & Ethics outlines our expectations from suppliers and third parties in areas such as human rights. This includes ensuring no use of forced, child, abusive and illegal labour. It also ensures a safe, secure and healthy workplace for suppliers’ staff and payment of wages that meet or exceed national legal standards. Learn more.
We aim to keep our staff and facilities safe while respecting the human rights & security of local communities. Our managers responsible for the security functions are carefully sensitized with the compliance processes, and all security personnel are educated about our requirements and instructions in respecting human rights in line with our wide procurement guidelines.
